New writing (shorts):

Will the real/girl woman please stand up: Beauty pageants and ‘sexy’ clothes are de rigueur for today’s under-10 set says Eugen Bacon who’d rather see them playing in dirt like their brothers...

Chewing over the trials of unemployment: Today, I am lunching with Dave.  He is 30 minutes late. He walks into the restaurant with the hesitant amble of a man who has been hard done by. His hazel eyes light up when they find me and I wave at him to join me at the table. Dave reminds me of a big, mauled bear gentled to a puppy. He wears a licked look - there is no fight left.

Public Transport Complex: Taking a stand for a seat - the discomfort of discourtesy. Rush hour in the train. Chockers, people elbowing their way in each stop. An old woman with feral hair shambles in.

The therapy of writing family history: Writing family history can tell you a lot more about yourself in a process that is most therapeutic...

The Jagged Edge of Otherwhen: Two talents, ten tales, rampant thoughts!
